Judging ‘Landscape Photographer of the Year’ Competition 2020

It is hard for me to believe that my transition from a hobbyist to a professional photographer happened over 15 years ago, when I started to work on my very first book. All this time, whether I was photographing, mentoring students, curating exhibitions or writing books, articles and image analysis, I had fun. Recently I started to sit on judging panels. I was very pleased to receive an invitation to join the judging panel for the prestigious Landscape Photographer of the Year. I am truly honoured and excited.  I didn’t take lightly an invitation to join the judging panel, however, as Landscape Photographer of the Year is such an important competition and it was founded by one of the most respected landscape photographers, Charlie Waite – how could I not say yes to this?
